The Security Service of Ukraine reported the details of the return of Ukrainian defenders from captivity as a result of the December 1 exchange. This was reported on December 2 by the press center of the SBU.
"Yesterday, 50 Ukrainian heroes returned home from russian captivity. Among them, there are defenders from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defense, the Navy, the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service. In total, 4 officers and 46 private and sergeant servicemen were returned", - the message said.
In particular, 14 defenders of Mariupol were released from captivity, including 8 defenders of Azovstal.
"Most of the released Ukrainians have wounds and injuries. Some of them have amputations or are unable to move. All of them will undergo medical examinations, treatment and rehabilitation", - the SBU assured.
