Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant (KhNPP) lost full access to the power grid for more than 9 hours due to russian missile attacks yesterday, on November 15. This is reported by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), - RBC-Ukraine writes.

"Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant lost full grid access yesterday for more than 9 hours due to military attacks in the country, having forced it to temporarily rely on diesel generators for backup power.
The IAEA noted that during the power outage, two KhNPP reactors were stopped, which suspended the supply of electricity.
"This was a very worrying development of events. It shows the potential risks to nuclear safety and security that all of Ukraine's nuclear facilities face during this terrible war", - IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated.
Let us recall that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russia has carried out 126 attacks on the energy system of Ukraine.
