"According to the information of head of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine Natalia Humeniuk, our military has just raised the flag of Ukraine on Snake Island!", - the message says.
"The military operation has been completed and this territory has now been returned to the jurisdiction of Ukraine", - Humeniuk said.
As reported, on the evening of July 1, russian aviation struck Snake Island in the Black Sea with phosphorus bombs.
After that, Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Valerii Zaluzhnyi reported that our military "helped the occupiers to destroy their equipment and weapons on Snake Island".
