The Russian occupiers have slowed down the pace of the offensive, but still continue unsuccessful attempts to attack in certain directions in the war against Ukraine. This is said in the operational summary of the General Staff in the morning of February 28.

"During the air offensive operation, the enemy continued inflicting fire damage on the military and civilian airfields, command posts, air defense system facilities, important critical infrastructure facilities, settlements and units in the defense areas", - the report says.

As noted, in violation of the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the occupiers insidiously launched a missile attack on residential buildings in the cities of Zhytomyr and Chernihiv.

At the same time, all attempts by the Russian occupiers to achieve the goal of the military operation failed. It is possible to successfully repel the attacks of battalion tactical groups even on the outskirts, forcing the enemy to abandon the offensive.

They add that more than five columns of the enemy equipment and manpower were destroyed by the artillery fire from only one of the Ukrainian brigades.

"The enemy is demoralized and suffers heavy losses. Frequent cases of desertion and disobedience are noted. The enemy realized that propaganda and reality are different. The occupiers are afraid of us", - the General Staff informs.

The defenders of Ukraine continue to retain a strong defense.
