A nine-story residential building on 7A Koshytsia Street in Kyiv caught fire as a result of debris from the enemy aircraft. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
Currently, it is known about the fire from the 4th to the 9th floor. Rescuers put out the fire on the spot.
“On the 7A Koshytsia Street about 04:20 - explosive ordnance hit in a multi-storey residential building, which consists of two sections. The first section, 10 floors, was hit at the level of 1-2 floors, the second section, 16 floors, was hit at the level of 8-9 floors) with subsequent burning, there is a threat of destruction”, - the message says.
According to preliminary data, as a result of missile debris hitting a residential building, three people were injured, one of them is in critical condition.
Ambulances take people to hospitals. All emergency services are on site. The house is on fire, there is a threat of destruction”, - Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on Telegram.
