State Fiscal Service is verifying the facts of off-shore companies belonging to President Petro Poroshenko. It was stated by the chairman of the Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov during the press conference on Tuesday, - reported Ukrainski Novyny.
"Yesterday I instructed the department on work with physical entities to verify the presence of all the facts of violations", - he said.
Nasirov didn’t give any detailed information.
As previously reported, the media published the materials of the investigation, which suggested that Ukrainian officials, including Poroshenko, had offshore companies in Panama. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau says it doesn’t have enough powers to conduct an investigation against the President.
