All parties to the negotiations in the Normandy format have agreed to hold a meeting at the level of foreign ministers in the coming weeks. This was reported on the website of the Elysee Palace following a telephone conversation between the leaders of the Normandy format countries, - Ukrinform reports.
"The parties agreed to organize a meeting between France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine in the coming weeks at the level of ministers (of foreign affairs - ed.)", - the press release says.
It is noted that the leaders agreed on the need to work towards the full implementation of the conclusions that were approved at the 2019 summit in Paris.
Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to move forward on the issue of the Normandy format summit.
As previously reported, Ukraine, Germany and France are ready to host a new Normandy Four summit before Angela Merkel steps down. Russia is slowing down the process. The last summit took place in Paris in December 2019.
