Evacuation exercises in the event of a threat of armed conflict with the deployment of appropriate management headquarters began in the Donetsk oblast on September 9. This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
Their purpose is to check the readiness of forces and means of the territorial subsystem of the civil protection of the region to carry out measures to evacuate the population in the event of escalation of armed conflict.
"Everyone should understand that these are the combat actions on the territory of the region that can become a factor that may cause the need to evacuate the population of certain territories, but we should not reject the issues related to man-made danger", - Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Vadym Filashkin noted.
Practical trainings of local executive authorities and local self-government bodies of the Donetsk oblast on organizing evacuation measures in case of a threat of armed conflict will take place on September 9-10.
