984 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
984 people fell ill over the past day, including 59 children and 48 health workers. 572 people were hospitalized, 43 – died.
570 people recovered on August 3.
47 442 tests were carried over the past day, of which 22 533 – by PCR, 8064 – by EIA and 16 845 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 255 345 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2 188 273 patients recovered and 53 024 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (236), the Donetsk (91), Kharkiv (75), Kherson (71) and Dnipropetrovsk (64) oblasts.
