President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has announced working out draft law on ethnic groups. He said this at the Ukraine 30 forum today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"The office of the President and I have set the task of developing new legislation. Now we are actively working on the law on ethnic groups, namely groups, and not on minorities. No nationality in our state should feel like a minority, should not feel itself less important or less protected", - he reported.
"We are all equal and worthy. Ukraine is our common home, warm and strong. Every community should feel this", - Zelensky noted.
As previously reported, the Verkhovna Rada had adopted the law on the native peoples of Ukraine on July 1.
