Russia is scared of holding fair and free elections in Donbass. This was stated by Vice President Joe Biden today at the session of the Ukrainian parliament – reports the correspondent of OstroV.
"I also want to appeal to the people of Donbass, the alternative of what I have said, is to continue to live under the rule of separatists, gangsters, criminals who refuse humanitarian aid, do not allow help of such organizations as "Doctors Without Borders", steal. This is not the future that people want, the Ukrainians for their children. It therefore requires the full implementation of the Minsk agreements to hold truly free and fair elections", - said he.
According to him, namely the holding of free elections in Donbass worries Russia the most. "When free elections are held and the people decide, I'm sure that they will decide to remain a part of Ukraine, that they are Ukrainians, first of all. That is what frightens Russia, scares Putin "- said J. Biden.
