The head of a private enterprise in occupied Donetsk, which provides overalls for the "DNR" militants, will be tried in absentia in the Donetsk oblast. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

It has been established that since October 2014, the director of the private enterprise in Donetsk has been carrying out orders for sewing Russian-style military uniforms, including dress uniforms, for employees of the security forces of the occupation administration.

In particular, the enterprise provides clothing for the employees of the so-called internal affairs, incomes and fees bodies, military lyceums, as well as representatives of illegal armed formations of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the defendant pays "taxes and fees" to the "DNR" pseudo-budget, thereby providing funding for the militants.

Now the indictment against the defendant has been sent to the court for consideration on the merits. The man is charged with financing terrorism (part 2 of article 258-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of eight to ten years with the deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or be engaged in certain activities for up to three years and with confiscation of property.
