Ukraine is entering the second stage of responding to the spread of coronavirus disease. This was announced by Chief Public Health Officer of Ukraine Viktor Liashko at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"Ukraine is entering the second stage of responding to the spread of coronavirus disease. We continue to expand and increase the number of beds in our health facilities that will hospitalize patients with coronavirus disease", - he informed.
According to him, the task to increase the number of beds for the treatment of patients with COVID-19 to 80 thousand was set today.
"All planned operations and hospitalizations in our hospitals have been banned since Monday. Hospitals receive only urgent patients and patients with COVID-19. The situation is extremely stressful", - Liashko noted.
