309 107 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of October 20. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"5469 people fell ill over the past day, including 275 children and 214 health workers. 841 people were hospitalized over the past day", - the minister stated.
According to him, 113 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded over the past day, 3044 patients recovered.
"In total, 309 107 people fell ill in Ukraine during the pandemic, including 18 828 children and 19 809 health workers. 129 533 people recovered and 5 786 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
53 403 tests on COVID-19 were carried over the past day, of which 31 543 - by PCR and 21 860 - by EIA.
