President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has voiced a full list of questions submitted for the October 25 poll and called on Ukrainians to tell what other issues they are concerned about. This is said in his video message on Facebook of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

According to the president, it is planned to bring the following three questions to the all-Ukrainian poll:

  • Should the number of deputies in the Verkhovna Rada be reduced to 300?
  • Do you support the legalization of medical cannabis in Ukraine to reduce pain in serious patients?
  • Does Ukraine, from which part of its territory has been annexed, need to raise the issue of using the security guarantees defined by the Budapest Memorandum at the international level to restore its state sovereignty and territorial integrity?

The citizens will be able to answer them at their polling stations on October 25.

"Do not you like all of the 5 questions? Okay. Find this video on the official pages and write what else you would like to say as a citizen of Ukraine in the comments. Legalization of weapons, dual citizenship, length of schooling, European license plates, parliamentary republic and much more. Write what questions should be included in the next polls", - the head of state noted.

As previously reported, the "popular consultation" initiated by Volodymyr Zelensky should take place on the day of the local elections. Who, how and for what money will carry it out is not yet clear. The phrase that Ukrainians will answer the questions put to them at the polling stations sounds in the president's video messages on a regular basis. However, the legislation permits such actions only outside the voting premises and on condition that citizens who have already voted will be interviewed. The presidential administration notes that the results of the survey will have no legal force, but will allow finding out the opinion of Ukrainians.
