The "DNR" Russian occupation forces have begun to conduct enhanced training of tank units. This is said in the report of press service of the so-called "people's militia" (self-designation of the illegal armed formations - OstroV).

"Tank units of the DNR people's militia are withdrawn to prepared areas for bunching-up at the training grounds, where they are currently undergoing combat shakedown, during which the crews are training in shooting and directing fire, practical driving during fire training, tactical training and driving as part of platoon and company columns", - it says.

The militants claim that by improving their skills in firing live ammunition and moving tank columns, they are preparing for a "maneuverable defensive battle."

Meanwhile, the May 25 OSCE SMM report noted that the Mission "recorded weapons deployed in violation of the withdrawal lines, including at firing ranges in areas of the Donetsk oblast beyond the government control".

As previously reported, the "DNR/LNR" leaders brought their armed gangs to increased combat readiness with the full approval of Russian leadership.
