16 023 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 12. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"375 people fell ill over the past day, of which 22 children and 88 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 17 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.
"In total, 16 023 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 1105 children and 3114 health workers. 3373 people recovered and 425 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
The Minister noted that 5678 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
