There are no special statuses for Donbass or other regions in the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine regarding decentralization, proposed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. People's deputy from Servant of the People Oleksandr Kornienko reported this today on the sidelines of the parliament, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"There are no special statuses for the regions of Ukraine, including Donbass, in this bill. Two regions have special aspects according to the Constitution – this is the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, it remains, and this is the legal status of Kyiv as the capital of Ukraine… Also, the work on the law on the capital is in progress", - he reported.

According to Kornienko, the Verkhovna Rada will try to vote for sending this bill to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine already this week.

As previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky introduced an urgent bill amending the Constitution of Ukraine regarding decentralization of power.
