Russia must guarantee the withdrawal of troops in the Donbass on the part of the militants. President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a comment to OstroV during the break of the press marathon.
"It (Russia, - OstroV) must guarantee (the withdrawal of troops in the Donbass, - OstroV), it is a participant in the Minsk process, it is a participant in the Trilateral Group. And it is in the Trilateral Group that these points are mentioned, therefore, they must guarantee", - he said.
Answering an additional question, whom Zelensky considers to be parties to the conflict in the Donbass, the president replied: "Today? You know very well. These are Ukraine and Russia".
"The participants of the "DNR" and "LNR" are in the Minsk process, you know that very well, they are sitting there, they are participating, but they are not in the Trilateral Group. They are not members of the Trilateral Group, but they solve something there. This is all problematic political theater, which we want to transfer to the object plane", - the head of the state added.
Earlier, spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that the Kremlin has some influence on the militants in the Donbass, but cannot guarantee the withdrawal of troops.
