Leader of the National Corps Andriy Biletsky has declared an "indefinite protest campaign against surrender", and member of the Svoboda party Yuriy Syrotyuk announced treason after President Volodymyr Zelensky reported the approval of text of the so-called "Steinmeier formula". This is stated on the Ukrayinska Pravda blog and Syrotyuk's Facebook.

"Today happened what Churchill called: "First we will get a shame, then a war", - Biletsky stated.

"We, patriots and veterans are announcing an indefinite protest campaign. We appeal to all Ukrainians to go out to Bankova today…", - he called on.

"The president confirmed signing of the Steinmeier formula. This is a fact of treason. Therefore, we have already reached Bankova", - Syrotyuk stated in turn.

Several hundred nationalists take part in the action on Bankova.

Those present shout: "No surrender!". They are protesting against the "Steinmeier formula". They note in their speeches that the action is of a precautionary nature, and do not exclude that tomorrow they will come to the Verkhovna Rada with a large composition.

As previously reported, on October 1, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine agreed on the text of the "Steinmeier formula" in Minsk. Now, according to him, the "Steinmeier formula" should be implemented in the new law on the special status of Donbass.

Zelensky recalled that the existing law on the special status of Donbass is valid until the end of 2019, it will be replaced by another law that will be developed by the Verkhovna Rada. "Not a single red line will be crossed in this new law, therefore, there will never be any surrender".

On September 20, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko revealed the text of the agreement, which replaced the "Steinmeier formula".

This document says that the law on special status is applied on temporary conditions from the moment the elections are held in the Donbass, it begins to operate on an ongoing basis after the recognition of the OSCE ODIHR that the elections meet high standards. Prystaiko noted that there are no ideas about the border, presence or absence of armed formations in the new wording.
