President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed new head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. The relevant decree No.482/2019 has been promulgated on the website of the head of state.

"Appoint Pavlo KYRYLENKO head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration", - the decree says.

The president dismissed previous governor Oleksandr Kuts from this post by decree No.481/2019.

On June 26, the Cabinet of Ministers approved 8 candidates from President Volodymyr Zelensky for the posts of heads of state administrations, including the Donetsk and Luhansk Regional State Administrations. As reported, Pavlo Kyrylenko is candidate for the post of chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. He is registered in Lviv, but actually lives in Uzhhorod. He is married and has two children - a daughter and a son. Kyrylenko is 33 years old. He is lieutenant colonel in justice, military prosecutor of the Uzhgorod garrison of the Western region (since September 2017). He graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in 2008. He worked in the prosecutor's offices of the Donetsk oblast, the Crimea and the Prosecutor General's Office.
