Ambulance took an elderly man from the militant-controlled Oleksandrivka checkpoint (Kargill, on the Donetsk-Kurakhove road corridor). This was reported by the so-called "Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DNR". The man was given first medical aid on the spot, and then he was handed over to the ambulance workers for further hospitalization. It was earlier reported that people, forced to cross the line of demarcation in the Donbass, recently complaining about the terrible conditions at checkpoints, which are controlled by the militants. Representatives of the "DNR" let only 6 cars pass every 30 minutes at their checkpoints to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
A team of researchers from the Higher School of Global and Regional Studies of the University of Leipzig visited checkpoint in the Donetsk oblast on a working visit, - the press center of the Joint Forces reported. A group of scientists – professors and graduate students of the University of Leipzig, among whom there are representatives of Armenia, Poland, Georgia and Germany, studying the topic of Russian aggression in the east of Ukraine, visited the Mayorske and Hnutove checkpoints. They got acquainted with the conditions of crossing the line of demarcation, passenger traffic, number of shelling of both the checkpoints' territory and adjacent territories.
The "DNR" militant was detained in the Donetsk oblast by counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, - the press center of the Joint Forces reported. The intelligence officers discovered that the resident of the region joined illegal armed formations in 2016. Until May 2019, the malefactor was in one of the militants' artillery units. Now the detainee cooperates with the investigation and gives testimony about the activities of the terrorist organization and involvement of the Russian Federation in the occupation of certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk roblasts.
