The Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine will discuss lifting of the economic blockade from certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts at the next meeting. This was stated by the OSCE Special Representative in the TCG Martin Sajdik to journalists in Minsk, - Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"The proposal (on lifting the economic blockade - IF) was made by Mr. Kuchma (Ukraine's representative in the TCG Leonid Kuchma - IF), this was supported by participants from CALO and CADO. This will be pending in the economic subgroup next time", - Sajdik said.
According to the special representative, lifting of the blockade could be a "big breakthrough".
At the same time, Sajdik noted that the introduction of blockade in the spring of 2017 against CADO and CALO was factor that contributed to the "rupture of the parties".
