Resigning Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has stated he would not unite with other parties to participate in the early election to the Verkhovna Rada. He said this in an interview with ICTV, - Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"For me, participation in the election is not just a desire to participate in election. I have a clear look at what can do Ukraine and Ukrainians stronger. And I believe that these steps should be implemented", – Groysman said.

He stressed that he would independently run for parliament with his own political force, with a team of people whom he considers to be "quite young, energetic and professional".

Commenting on the possible union with the political force of Petro Poroshenko, Groysman said: "There were such proposals, and many politicians spoke among themselves about different opportunities. I made a decision - I will go on my own and this decision is final for me".

At the same time, he added: "I believe that we are just different".

Volodymyr Groysman intends to go to the Verkhovna Rada at the head of the Ukrainian Strategy party.

In 2014, he ran for parliament on the lists of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
