Deputy Prosecutor General Vitaliy Kasko resigns from his post. He stated this today at the press conference in Kiev, - reports the correspondent of the OstroV.
"This desire is caused by the fact that the current leaders of the General Prosecutor’s Office finally turned it into an organ, where corruption, joint responsibility dominate and any attempt to change the state of things within the General Prosecutor's Office is immiditely prosecuted", - he said.
"More and more Pshonka’s pupils and followers are taking the key positions in the Prosecutor's Office every day," - added V.Kasko.
He added that lawlessness and arbitrariness rule in the the GPO today, there is also pressure on investigators and prosecutors, inaction and impunity.
"General Prosecutor's Office is a dead body, no one believes its independence," - he stressed.
