Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy has solemnly opened the work of the ninth session of the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation, OstroV’s correspondent reports.
"I declare the ninth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine open", - he said.
"This is the beginning of our work at a time when Ukraine faces very important challenges and, of course, Ukraine's biggest challenge is the continuation of Russian aggression and the defense of the Ukrainian state. Therefore, I have no doubt that this issue should be the key one in the work of our session", - Andriy Parubiy said.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine highlighted the main priorities of the Parliament's work for this autumn.
