Ukraine intends to appeal to international partners with a proposal to impose sanctions against Russians involved in the kidnapping and mockery of Ukrainian political prisoners. This was announced at a press conference in Kyiv today by Minister of Justice of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"We will appeal to our international partners with the proposal to form a separate sanctions list, similar to the "Magnitsky Act", where there will be a list of those persons who are involved in kidnapping, imprisonment and mockery of Ukrainian citizens who are political prisoners on the territory of the Russian Federation", - he reported.

Earlier, the minister stated that Ukraine had filed another application to the European Court of Human Rights with a demand to oblige the Russian Federation to release Ukrainian political prisoners.
