Ukraine is going to stop railway service with Russia. This was stated by Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan in the Breakfast with 1+1 program, - TSN reports.

"We are now considering the option of closing the railway service with Moscow", - he said.

As previously reported, in the summer of 2017, Russian Kommersant, referring to its sources in the Ukrainian government, reported that, from July 1, Ukraine was allegedly preparing to end the railway passenger service with Russia. However, Ukrzaliznytsia denied this information at that time. Railway personnel called the report on termination of passenger transportation in the Russian Federation from July 1 "at variance with the facts".
