More than 240 children have been killed in eastern Ukraine in four years of war, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin said on Children's Day marked on June 1.
"About 200,000 children live along the line of demarcation in the Donbass, 15,000 live in the 5-km zone of the contact line. Each of them is at risk every day and deserves to feel safe. I call on world community to urge Russia to stop war that took more than 240 children’s lives in Ukraine", - Klimkin wrote on Twitter.
