One serviceman of the AFU was killed, two more were wounded as a result of shelling by militants in eastern Ukraine on Friday, the ATO HQ press center reports.
"Overall, the militants attacked the Ukrainian soldiers eight times. Unfortunately, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, two more were wounded in these attacks", - the report said.
In Luhansk sector, the enemy attacked with 120-mm mortars near Troitske. Near Stanytsia Luhanska, the occupants used small arms.
In Donetsk sector, the militants launched numerous attacks with 82, 120-mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms near Avdiivka. 82-mm mortars and IFV weaponry were used near Bohdanivka.
