More than 70 people from the list of the "DNR/LNR" refused to return to the occupied territory. This is written by the spokesman of the Prosecutor General Larysa Sargan referring to Deputy Prosecutor General Anzhela Stryzhevska.
"According to Deputy Prosecutor General Anzhela Stryzhevska, the final figures of the 74/306 exchange are 73/233", - she wrote.
Thus, 73 people refused to exchange. Some of them, having served their sentence in free territory, did not come to the place of exchange at all. Others refused to return to the "DNR/LNR" right on the site of the exchange. "26 people have refused to go to the CDDLO during the exchange", - reported Stryzhevska.
One woman from the Ukrainian side decided to stay in Donetsk.
"From those, whom we took from an uncontrolled territory, one woman refused to return to the territory controlled by Ukraine. She said that she had a pro-Ukrainian position, but her family lived in Donetsk, therefore, she remained there", - press secretary quoted Stryzhevska.
Ukrainian Prosecutor’s General Office stressed that Ukraine did not give the citizens of Russia and other countries for exchange.
