The European Union will continue its support for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements. Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli said this in a commentary to journalists in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.
"I am not aware of any other options for today. And that's why we support the full implementation of the Minsk agreements", - Mingarelli said, commenting on the statement of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov that the Minsk agreements are dead and new agreements are needed.
The European diplomat also pointed to the activities of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk, which will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday. Also, the "Normandy format" contacts are being preserved.
"We will maintain to support the full implementation of the Minsk agreements. Although we understand the disappointment associated with the lack of significant progress, which is really the case", - he said.
