International partners of Ukraine do not want to take the responsibility and recognize Russia as a party to the conflict in the Donbass. This was stated today during the discussion "Return of the occupied territories of Donbass. Ukrainian plan" in Kyiv by Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oksana Syroyid, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"The problem of the Donbass return is a problem of generations. Who will pay? You do not need to have the illusion that Russia will pay something under the existing circumstances. There is not a single legal document that would establish that Russia is a party to this conflict. There are political declarations in the form of resolution of the Verkhovna Rada on recognizing Russia as the aggressor", - she said.
Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that Ukraine should register that the Russian Federation is a party to the conflict, and then demand recognition of this fact internationally.
"As for the assistance of international organizations, I can say that many international organizations, like the European Union, are ready to provide humanitarian assistance, but they are ready to provide assistance to Ukraine as a result of the consequences of internal conflict. Nobody wants to take the responsibility to recognize Russia as a party to this war, this conflict", - Syroyid said.
