The police opened three criminal proceedings on the facts of events under the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the State Administration of the National Police in Kyiv.

"3 criminal proceedings under Article 345 (Threat or violence against a law enforcement officer), Article 186 (Robbery) and Article 194 (Deliberate destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine have been started on the facts of incidents", - the message says.

It is noted that law enforcement officers did not detain anyone yesterday.

The police continue to provide public security and order.

As it was informed earlier, on October 17, a protest rally began under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada. The demands of the protesters are to abolish the immunity of the deputies, change the electoral legislation, make party lists open, and create an anti-corruption court.

On October 18, about 150-200 people are protesting near the Verkhovna Rada.
