Linguistic expert review has found that the letter of former President Viktor Yanukovych to Vladimir Putin with the request to introduce Russian troops to Ukraine is a direct appeal to violate its sovereignty. This is stated in the expert review, which was read today by Judge Vladyslav Deviatko in the course of trial on the treason of Yanukovych, - Ukrayinska Pravda reports.

"The used lexemes can be aimed at Russian aggression and violation of the sovereignty of Ukraine", - the review said.

Moreover, linguistic expert review has not established calls for a change in the constitutional order in Ukraine in public statements of former President Viktor Yanukovych.

"There are no statements with calls for a violent change of the constitutional order in Ukraine or the seizure of state power in Ukraine. There are no statements with calls for changing the borders of Ukraine in interviews with the media and Yanukovych's public speeches", - the expert review said.

Prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko noted in the comments to the media that Yanukovych is being accused not of separatism, but of high treason.
