The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine does not plan to raise the retirement age during the pension reform. Deputy Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko announced this at the meeting of the conciliation council of the parliament, LIGA.net reports.
"The Cabinet does not plan to raise the retirement age, and all issues related to the pension reform will be discussed with the parliament and in the parliament", - he said.
As previously reported, Deputy Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko recently said that the pension reform, which is being developed by the Cabinet, does not provide for raising the retirement age. Commenting on information about the requirements of the International Monetary Fund on raising the retirement age, he noted that there is a difference between what the IMF wants and what the Ukrainian government is negotiating with the fund.
