The Prosecutor General of Ukraine presented to journalists a number of documents obtained during the searches in the criminal proceedings against UKROP Party leader Gennadiy Korban, - the so-called "black" accounting, schemes of companу raids and audio records. This was stated by the prosecutor of the General Prosecutor's Office Valeriy Karpuntsov at the briefing, - reports Interfax.

"As a part of the investigation ... a procedural decision has been made to show public some of the materials that were found during searches, so that society receives a bit more information," - said the prosecutor of the General Prosecutor's Office.
Investigator on particularly important cases of the Main Investigation Department of the of the General Prosecutor's Office Nikolay Makeyev said that there had been a number of searches, particularly in Korban’s house. "A lot of interesting information has been seized, such as "black" accounting, which concerns the activities of a criminal organization, in the organization of which Korban is suspected", - he said.

According to Makeyev, these are draft records that relate to bribes given to some people's deputies of Ukraine. The slides shown to the media demonstrate a small format of recording with the date, number and the word "expense" with significant sums in hryvnia and dollar.
"During the searches scheme of the  documentary type with raids of many companies were also seized," - said Makeyev.

Former deputy head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Korban, who participated in the election of the mayor of Kiev from the UKROP Party, was arrested on October 31st in the framework of a large-scale special operation aimed at eliminating organized crime. He was later placed under house arrest, and lately taken into custody.
