The leader of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko considers the escaped Viktor Yanukovych the President of Ukraine, but does not want to let him to the occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast. He stated this at press conference, - RIA-Novosti reports.
"Yanukovych, Klimenko, Arbuzov, Azarov… let us add these people to the list of non-entry to the "Donetsk People's Republic". We have nothing to do with the traitors", — Zakharchenko stated, addressing the speaker of the "Parliament" of the non-existent "republic" Denis Pushylin.
The leader of the militants also noted that he still considers Yanukovych the President of Ukraine. However, according to Zakharchenko, he must return to Kyiv, not to Donetsk.
"Yanukovych is president in fact, because he did not surrender the government... but he fled from Kyiv, so he must return to Kyiv", - Zakharchenko said.
