Verkhovna Rada voted for the draft resolution №5687 "On the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "On the final report of the OSCE/ODIHR on the results of monitoring the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation in 2016", - the correspondent of OstroV reports.

The draft resolution was supported by 239 people's deputies of Ukraine.

"We believe that the absence in the OSCE/ODIHR final report the observation of proper legal assessment of voting in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, in particular in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, is unfair also to Russian citizens, who have the right to hold free and fair elections", - the text of the draft resolution reads.

In particular, according to the resolution, the OSCE report completely ignored the fact of the annexation of the Crimea by the Russian Federation.

"At the same time, the report does not estimate the actual state of affairs, and does not give even a basic analysis of the circumstances and the problems which have arisen in the electoral process in the Russian Federation as a result of pseudo voting in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine", - the text of the draft resolution reads.
