Militants promise to hand over the bodies of three Ukrainian military, that were considered missing in the area of the line of demarcation in the direction of Mariupol from January 8, to the Ukrainian side by the end of the day. This is reported by the separatist media.
"Today we will hand over the bodies of three Ukrainian servicemen to the Ukrainian side", – the representative of the so-called "operational command" of the "DPR" said.
According to the militants, Ukrainian fighters were blown up by a land mine in the area of Oktyabr village.
It is noted that the handover of the bodies will take place in the city morgue of the hospital named after Kalinin in the center of Donetsk.
It was previously reported that three Ukrainian military had disappeared in the course of combat missions near the line of demarcation in the direction of Mariupol on January 8. They did not return to the location of the unit, and there was no communication with them.
Relatives of the Ukrainian military stated on January 12 that they were informed about the death of the fighters.
