The so-called "authorized representative of the LPR" Vladislav Daynego accused employees of the OSCE special monitoring mission, working in the "republic", of "conscious avoidance of direct communication with the local authorities" in negotiations of the Contact group in Minsk. The statement was made on January 4 during the meeting with representatives of the mission, - separatist agency DAN reports.
It is reported that Daynego together with the representatives of the OSCE SMM and the Joint center for control and coordination of ceasefire (JCCC) held the "monitoring of one of the sections of the contact line near Stanytsia Luhanska".
According to Daynego, "all communication" between the representatives of the OSCE and republics passes solely through the mediation of the JCCC that is "spelled out nowhere".
"You consciously avoid direct communication that is written in the mandate - in order to fulfill the main objectives, and so on to establish the connection with the local, regional and central management. And you avoid this norm of the mandate," – Daynego stated to the representatives of the SMM.
"Therefore, we are forced to seek a mediator (represented by the JCCC), which is an interpreter between us", - Daynego added.
"At the same time you make clearly illegal demands that cannot be confirmed now and refer to "you have said so", - Daynego stated.
He also stated that "a number of problems cannot be solved in the course of the meetings in Minsk, they must be addressed locally". Such issues, according to the "representative of the LPR" include: monitoring and coordination of routes, mine lifting and many others - the statement says.
