The "DPR" claims that militants have launched a new phase of tactical exercises in the rear areas in the south of the occupied territories of Donbass. "Deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR" Eduard Basurin informed separatist media about that.
"Military units continue carrying out tactical exercises. Today our units are exercising forcing a water obstacle including beachhead assault for the further development of the offensive with the involvement of reserves," - he said.
It is reported that the military attache at the US Embassy in Ukraine, Colonel Paul Schmidt arrived in the Ukrainian area of responsibility of the operational and tactical command of Mariupol to analyse the "DPR" exercises.
