A total of 259 members of parliament voted in favor of the corresponding resolution in the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday.
Under the Law "On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine", after being relieved of office, the prime minister continues to perform their duties in an acting capacity. All ministers are considered dismissed but continue carrying out their responsibilities.
They will remain in office until a new prime minister is appointed and a new government is formed.
