The head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy put forward an initiative to raise the issue of introducing a visa regime with Russia. He said this today at the meeting of the Conciliatory Council of the parliament, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.
"At the beginning of 2016 I introduced Rada a draft resolution to the Verkhovna about an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the termination of the agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Russian Government about visa-free travel of citizens of Ukraine and Russia," - he said.
"Perhaps now it makes sense to raise the issue and get back to the introduction of a visa regime with Russia," - added the speaker.
