“An important step in relations with Hungary: today the funds and valuables of Oschadbank, which had been seized by Hungarian special services in March, were returned. At that time, the Hungarian side illegally detained Ukrainian cash collectors. We returned the people earlier, and now both the funds and the valuables are fully back on Ukrainian territory”, - President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported on May 6, adding words of gratitude to Hungary for a constructive and civilized step.
As reported, Hungary had planned to accuse the Ukrainian cash collectors of “transporting weapons and terrorism”.
