The decision to supply electricity from Ukraine to the Crimea peninsula requires additional comprehensive analysis taking into account the national interests of Ukraine. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, - informs Interfax-Ukraine.
"It (the question of supply – Ed.) should be submitted to a meeting of the National Security Council ... This supply is only possible with the respective decision and taking into account all the circumstances, not only energetic, not only trade, but also security issues. After analyzing the solutions, the final decision will be made taking into account the national interests of Ukraine", - said the head of state after the launch of power line "Rivne NPP – Kiev substation", responding to a question of journalists.
