“The vessel ‘Volgo-Balt-138’ sunk in the Sea of Azov was last recorded near Mariupol and was transporting stolen Ukrainian grain from there”, - the monitoring group “Crimean Wind” reported.
As previously reported, the authorities of the occupied part of the Kherson oblast stated that a Volgo-Balt type vessel carrying a cargo of wheat sank in the waters of the Sea of Azov. The crew left the ship and managed to reach the shore, however, three people died. According to russian propaganda, the vessel was attacked by a Ukrainian UAV. There is no confirmation of this information.
