A bilateral meeting with the American delegation – Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner – has begun", - Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov reported on February 26. He added that on the Ukrainian side, David Arakhamia, Oleksii Sobolev, and Daryna Marchak are also in the delegation with him today.
"Together with the Government’s economic team, we will work in detail on the prosperity package: mechanisms of economic support and recovery of Ukraine, tools for attracting investment and long-term cooperation"б - Umerov wrote. According to him, also "together with David Arakhamia we will discuss preparations for the next round of trilateral negotiations with the participation of the russian side – it is necessary to synchronize positions before this stage". "An important block is the humanitarian track and issues of possible exchanges. We expect concrete results on the return of our citizens. We are working on practical solutions. We will report on the results after the meeting is completed", - Umerov promised.
