“Telegram will not be restricted in the special military operation zone”, - occupation media reported on February 18, citing the head of russia’s Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadaev.
The occupiers had to do this because russian military personnel still have not switched to the MAX messenger imposed by the russian authorities.
“But we hope that after some time our military will be able to reorganize and move to russian services”, - Shadaev is quoted as saying.
According to OstroV, Telegram is currently available in the occupied territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
