“The talks were indeed constructive. I am grateful to the U.S. and the UAE for the high-quality organization and mediation”, - said Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov in a comment to RBC-Ukraine after the end of the second round of trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi on February 5.
It is noted that this is the first statement from the Ukrainian side.
Earlier, the head of the American delegation, Steve Witkoff, said there had been “detailed and productive peace talks”, noting that “there is still a lot of work ahead”.
